However, given his shared history with model-actress Bipasha Basu, their alleged rivalry as a supermodel has often made headlines. Recently Dino clarified whether there was any enmity between him and John or not. He also talked about his previous relationship with Bipasha and how it ended during the shooting of the film ‘Raaz’.

The enmity with John was only fueled by the media.
While talking to Siddharth Kannan, Dino talked about his relationship with John. He said, ‘There was never any rivalry between us. We used to talk to each other and have fun with each other. The talk of enmity between us started in the minds of people when I broke up with Bipasha and he started dating Bipasha. People started thinking that he was dating my girlfriend, hence there was rivalry, it was only fueled by the media.
John proved people wrong
He said that both of us have started on our respective paths. Recently I texted him (John), ‘Are we going for a bike ride or coffee?’ I don’t think there is any rivalry between us. I am happy to see where he is today. Because when we were starting out, people used to say that models cannot act and we proved them wrong. John has done really well.
When did Bipasha and John’s relationship start?
The actor revealed that Bipasha and John’s relationship started about a year after he and Bipasha separated. Dino Morea said, ‘I am clarifying this after years. Bipasha and I broke up and after about a year they started dating and I had started dating someone else so why would there be any animosity? People thought that John had taken away my girlfriend but it was not like that. The three of us used to talk but people turned it into something else.
Dino-Bipasha went on a blind date
He said while talking about his relationship with Bipasha. ‘She came from Calcutta, I came from Bangalore. We were introduced by a common friend, who arranged a blind date. I just heard that a supermodel was coming and I was also a supermodel. We went on a blind date, it was awkward, but we started dating soon after.

Dino revealed that their relationship broke up during the shooting of the film ‘Raaz’. He said that when we were working for Raj, the relationship was more or less over. it was very difficult. But after Raj, when we committed ‘Gunaah’, that was the most difficult time, because we were separating, everything was over.

Amidst these personal revelations, Dino also shared his dating experiences. He said that I dated Lara for some time. That was madness. All my relationships have been full of ups and downs. Despite the complexities of past relationships, Dino maintains cordial relations with his former teammates. He said that there was never any intention to cause harm. I meet him normally. I already know Karan, we had worked together on a film. I met everyone. Be it Karan Singh Grover, Mahesh Bhupathi, or Vidyut Jammwal.
