After being accused of assaulting 3 women, DCP’s statement on Raveena Tandon- ‘The actress was returning home when…’

Mumbai: Ever since the video of Raveena Tandon’s scuffle surfaced, her fans are upset. In the video, the crowd is seen getting angry at the actress and her driver and accusing them of assault. Now a new development has come to light in this alleged assault case. A senior police officer has clarified that the actress’s car did not hit the women. When Raveena got out of the car, there was an argument between them.

Zone 9 DCP Raj Tilak Roshan said, “Raveena was returning home. Her car was reversing. A woman passing by got angry at the driver and asked him to drive carefully. The car did not even touch the woman, but an argument started between the two.” According to IANS report, the DCP further said that Raveena got out of the car and an argument started. We have not received any written complaint from any party. Due to this, no case is made. No one has been injured.

Raveena Tandon got injured
Raveena Tandon claimed that the mob attacked her. A source close to her said that after Raveena’s car entered the building, the mob started demanding the driver to come out and talk to them. When the situation worsened, Raveena tried to intervene. During this, she got injured. Earlier, a video of an argument between the locals and the actress went viral on social media. In the video, the locals have accused Raveena and her driver of allegedly assaulting three women, including an elderly woman.

In the viral video, you can see Raveena Tandon trying to stop the crowd. A woman is seen accusing her of assault, after which some people are seen behaving aggressively. Raveena Tandon then pleads with the people not to attack her, yet people push and shove her. At the end of the video, a man is saying that his mother, sister and niece have been beaten up by Raveena and her driver. According to media reports, this incident took place near Rizvi College on Carter Road in Mumbai.
