There are speculations that Kartik will become Sooraj Barjatya’s new ‘Prem’ in the coming days. He has replaced Salman Khan in a film to become ‘Prem’. However, no official statement has come on these news yet. Let us tell you that earlier Kartik has replaced Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in the second part of the Bhool Bhulaiya franchise ‘Bhool Bhulaiya-2’. Now he is going to replace Salman Khan.
According to Pinkvilla’s report, Kartik Aaryan is all set to become the new ‘Prem’ of director Sooraj Barjatya’s films, a trademark name that was till now owned by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Sooraj Barjatya had announced ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’ with Salman Khan but Salman refused to be a part of the film. Now after Salman’s refusal, the makers have approached Kartik.
The film will be based on a single family
The report states that the project is still in talks and Barjatya feels that Karthik has the potential to become a new-age Prem as he wants his hero to be full of innocence on screen. The film is reportedly based on a single family in the modern period.
Let us tell you that Barjatya himself had announced to work with Salman again and the film was named ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’. However, after being in the news for more than a year, the film was reportedly shelved as the actor was not keen to work in the romantic space soon. In such a situation, Kartik has got the chance to become Barjatya’s new love.
