According to reports, Amitabh handed over the project to Nishtha Foundation, which is headed by Jaya Prada. Eager to see the promise fulfilled, the villagers even offered more than 10,000 square metres of land for the construction. Still, the college remained an unfulfilled dream. When the dreams did not come true for almost 10 years, in 2018, the people of Daulatpur took it in their own hands and successfully established a degree college in place of the school.
