Famous filmmaker Siddharth Roy Kapur’s production house ‘Roy Kapur Films’ (RKF) has acquired the rights to make a biopic on the life of Election Commissioner Sukumar Sen, the architect of the country’s first general elections. Roy Kapur Films acquired the rights to produce the biopic in association with Trickytainment Media. Siddharth said, “We are proud to make a biopic on the life of one of our national heroes, Sukumar Sen.”

Siddharth Roy Kapur said, “Sukumar Sen played a vital role in shaping India’s democratic history. From the system of identifying political parties by different election symbols and colours to tackle illiteracy to the idea of ​​applying indelible ink on the finger to avoid fraud… many of his innovations are still in use today!”
