Yes, the actor is currently juggling several high-octane projects. Meanwhile, he has also gone on a 15-day spiritual journey to several places along the Himalayas but on the other hand, fans have their eyes set on his upcoming films. During a recent interaction, Rajinikanth has talked about the shoot schedule of Coolie and also revealed the release date of Vettaiyaan but this film is going to clash with Jr NTR.
Rajinikanth- Tarak Ka Dum will be seen on Diwali
During the conversation with the Guruji of the holy temple, Rajinikanth mentioned that he has completed his portions from Vettaiyaan and we are planning to release the film on October 10. In the same conversation, Thalaivar also mentioned that the shooting of Coolie is going to start from June 10 and he will be making an appearance on the sets after returning from his trip. But if the date mentioned by Rajinikanth regarding Vettaiyaan is true, then he will be facing Jr NTR as Tarak’s upcoming Devara: Part 1 is also set for its grand release on October 10, 2024.
Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan is being made on a budget of 160 crores
Vettaiyaan is a political-thriller film directed by Jai Bhim fame director TJ Gnanavel. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh, Rakshan, GM Sundar and many others in pivotal roles. According to sources, Fahadh Faasil may play the role of an antagonist. Vettaiyaan is being made at a cost of Rs 160 crore.
300 crore rupees spent on Rajinikanth’s Devra
Talking about Junior NTR’s Devra, this film is one of his most awaited films. In this project, Tarak will be seen in not one but a double role. Directed by director Koratala Siva, this film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Chaitra Rai, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma and Srikanth in lead roles. Devra is being made at a huge cost of Rs 300 crore.
