Mumbai. South film industry’s most popular and talented actor Fahadh Faasil suffered from a disease called Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which affects the brain’s focus, a person’s behavior and the ability to control impulses (emotions). This is common in children but is considered dangerous for adults. Fahadh talked about his disease and his recovery from it at an event.
Fahadh Faasil said after inaugurating the ‘Peace Valley Children’s Village’ in Kothamangalam, Kerala on Sunday that he had asked the doctor if ADHD is easy to treat. Fahadh said, “The doctor told me that if it is detected at an early age, it can be easily cured.”
Fahadh Faasil further said, “I asked if ADHD can be cured if it occurs at the age of 41. I got ADHD at the age of 41 and I am recovering.” His statement came after the success of the film ‘Aavesham’. Aavesham has been highly praised by critics and audiences. The film’s cinematography, action scenes, BGM were also praised a lot.
‘Aavesham’ has become one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. It was written and directed by Jeetu Madhavan. In this, Fahadh plays the role of a gangster. Now, Fahadh is going to work with director Jeetu Joseph. Jeetu directed the Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film franchise ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Drishyam 2’.
Apart from this, Fahadh Faasil will be seen again in Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2’. He will play a lead role in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Vettaiyaan’. It is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. It will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier in lead roles.
