During his time, he did many films with Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Vinod Khanna. Along with this, he had a lot of on-screen romance with superhit actresses like Sridevi, Hema Malini, Rekha, Jaya Prada etc. But unfortunately, ‘Superstar’ was never added before Jitendra’s name.

It is said that once in front of Rajesh Khanna, superstar Rajkumar had said something about Jitendra, after hearing which everyone was left speechless.

Actor Mukesh Khanna had told about this incident. She shared her experience with Rajkumar on her YouTube channel Bheeshma International. He had told that Rajkumar has been such a star who did not even think twice about making fun of the biggest stars. Let us remind you that Rajkumar had worked with Dilip Kumar and Mukesh Khanna in the film Saugandh released in 1991. When director Subhash Ghai offered this film to Mukesh Khanna, he was a little worried. He was aware of the nature of the prince that he makes fun of anyone.

Even the director was speechless
During the interview, he had told how Rajkumar had ridiculed Jitendra a lot in front of Rajesh Khanna. Recalling an incident, he had said that ‘Everyone knows the attitude of Raj ji that he used to say anything without thinking. Something like this happened once when four-five actors were working in a film. In which Rajesh Khanna and Jitendra were also included. Then suddenly Rajkumar arrived at the set for some reason. He took a look at those actors and said to the director – Honey, you have accumulated a lot of juniors. Hearing Rajkumar’s words, the director along with Rajesh Khanna were left speechless. No one knew what to say.

Let us tell you that when Rajkumar was at his stardom, Rajesh Khanna had become a superstar of Bollywood. Jeetendra was also trying to get a hit film. He was much junior to Rajkumar and Rajesh Khanna.
