The all-electric NXT Gen Cup and Hankook are entering a new round: In the 2024 season, a total of twelve races await fans as part of the DTM. The one-make cup will be equipped with tires from Hankook. Thanks to the driving dynamics properties of the premium tire, the young drivers can easily drive the “LRT NXT1” based on the Mini John Cooper Works GP to the limit and fight for points and trophies.
Manfred Sandbichler, Hankook Director Motorsport: “We are delighted to be supporting young motorsport talent with our product for the second year in a row. With the NXT Gen Cup, we are equipping another innovative and fully electric racing series alongside Formula E with our Hankook tires, which provide the drivers of this exciting series with plenty of grip and high consistency in all twelve races. We are happy to be working with the NXT Gen Cup again this season, because together we are driving the development of e-mobility forward.”

NXT Gen Cup 2024: Four events in Germany
At the DTM at the Norisring from July 5th to 7th, the NXT Gen Cup will start the new season with a double header. A total of four races are then scheduled for the drivers in Monaco, Franconia. The narrow and winding track in Nuremberg is an absolute highlight of the DTM calendar and the perfect venue for the exciting races of the electric one-make cup.
The action continues from August 16th to 18th at the legendary Nürburgring, where spectators watched spectacular duels between the all-electric cars last year. The second double header of the season will take place from September 6th to 8th at the Sachsenring, about 100 kilometers from Dresden. The series will celebrate the season finale together with the DTM at the Hockenheimring. The championship decision will be made here at the latest from October 18th to 20th after a total of twelve exciting races.
