Mumbai. Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has made her acting debut. She is appearing in the second season of the British sitcom ‘We Are Lady Parts’. She has done a cameo in it. Her look and scene from the TV show is rapidly going viral on the internet. In this picture, Pakistani activist Malala can be seen wearing a cowboy hat and riding a horse. Malala appeared in the episode ‘Malala Made Me Do It’ of ‘We Are Lady Parts Season 2’ along with Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kamila Impey, Juliet Motamed, Lucy Shorthouse and Faith Omole.

The title song was also seen in Desi style in the second episode of ‘We Are Lady Parts Season 2’. The second season of ‘We Are Lady Parts’ premiered on May 30. In a New York Times interview with show runner Nida Manzoor, the director revealed that Malala was invited to join the show through a letter.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai told in the interview, “I was wondering, ‘What will it look like? Do I have dialogues? How many times will I have to do it? How long will it take? When I saw the set on the day of shooting, it was beyond my imagination. And the funny thing was that I didn’t have to speak any lines, so things became very easy.”

Malala Yousafzai praised the positive portrayals of Muslim girls and said that it will make the audience feel connected to them. She said, “Often, when we see conflicts, wars, oppression against people, it always starts to dehumanize other people. I hope we get to hear more stories of people from Gaza, Afghanistan and other parts of the world.”
