A man who went missing 26 years ago in the Algerian city of Al Kadid has finally been found. A man named Umar Bi was kidnapped by his neighbor. At that time he was only 19 years old. Omar went missing in 1998 during the civil war in Algeria.
His family searched for him for many years. But when nothing was found, they assumed him dead. The kidnapper’s house was just 200 meters away from Umar’s house. According to Algerian media reports, Omar was never able to escape from there because the kidnapper had cast black magic on him.

Umar in shock due to being kidnapped for 26 years
The police have taken the accused kidnapper into custody. The case is being investigated. In a Facebook post, Umar’s brother Khalid has said that Umar’s condition is fine. He is in shock due to being held hostage for 26 years and is being given psychological help.
Algeria’s Justice Ministry said the accused worked as a doorman in the municipality of the nearby town of El Guedid. He was having a dispute with his brother regarding property. Due to this, his brother posted information about Umar on social media. He wrote on social media that Umar is alive and in good condition.
Umar was kidnapped and kept among dry grass.
After this this news spread among the people living nearby. Then Umar’s relatives started searching for him. After getting the address of the house, they broke the door and entered inside. Here Umar was hidden with dry grass in a pit in the middle of the house. After rescue, he was sent to the hospital for treatment.
