When will DTM come on TV? Broadcast, live stream, new schedule at the Lausitzring

The DTM will be at the Lausitzring for the second race weekend of the 2024 season (May 24th-26th). After his surprising victory at the opener in Oschersleben, Luca Engstler (GRT-Lamborghini) travels to Lausitz as the front runner and takes on 19 competitors there. Television partner ProSieben will show the two races live on free TV this weekend.

Important NOTE for the spectators: The DTM race on Saturday, May 25th starts later than usual! The race will start once at 5:00 p.m. instead of the usual time of 1:30 p.m. Reason for the changed schedule: ProSieben will broadcast the semi-finals of the Ice Hockey World Cup on television from 2:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and between 6:05 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The DTM Saturday race will be broadcast between the two games.

Due to the postponement, ProSieben will not only show the race in the evening, but also the DTM qualifying (1:05 ​​p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) live on television for the first time. On Sunday, May 26, the DTM and ProSieben will return to the familiar schedule: qualifying (9:40 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.) will be followed by the race from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

When will the DTM be on free TV?

Where is the DTM 2024 on TV? Viewers in Germany can watch the races at the Lausitzring live on free TV on ProSieben. Alongside long-time commentator Eddie Mielke, various current and former racing drivers take turns as TV experts throughout the season, including David Schumacher. Andrea Kaiser and Matthias Killing report from the paddock.

Who shows DTM races at the Lausitzring in a live stream?

If you don’t have a TV, you can also follow the DTM 2024 via live stream. In Germany, ProSieben is on the website ran.de provides a free live stream. Also on the DTM’s official YouTube channel All races, qualifying sessions and training sessions can be followed with English commentary. In Austria, ServusTV streams on its streaming platform called Hello TV On the races live and offers either live broadcasts or highlight programs with summaries of the most important events on television.

DTM at the Lausitzring: supporting program on TV and live stream

In addition to the DTM, the ADAC GT4 Germany, the Prototype Cup Germany, the ADAC Historic Cup East Formula and the ADAC Historic Cup East Touring Cars also start at the Lausitzring. The planned continuation of the BMW M2 Cup was canceled at short notice, the one-make cup is scheduled to return in 2025.

Sport1 shows the two ADAC GT4 Germany races on Saturday (from 2:00 p.m.) and on Sunday (from 3:00 p.m.) live on free TV. Both ADAC GT4 Germany races can also be seen in the live stream on adac.de/motorsport, ServusTV ON, sport1.de and the ADAC Motorsport channel on youtube.com/adacmotorsports.
