A source has told Bollywood Hungama that Ramayana is not a film but an emotion. For this reason, the makers do not want to leave any stone unturned to make it better at the global level. In such a situation, the makers have kept the budget of only the first part at Rs 835 crore.

The source says that producer Namit Malhotra is spending money like water on the ‘Ramayana’ franchise to give a grand feel to the film.

The source says that the post production of such a big mega budget film will take 600 days. The shooting of the film started only last month.

In this film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. A few days ago, pictures of both of them from the set also went viral.

Just 1-2 days after the shooting started, pictures of Arun Govil and Lara Dutta were also revealed from the set. It was revealed from the pictures that Arun Govil will be seen in the role of King Dasharatha in the film. Whereas, Lara Dutta has been cast in the role of Rani Kaikeyi.

Arun Govil appeared in the role of King Dasharatha. Two child actors were also seen with him. Sources claimed that both these child actors have played the childhood roles of Lord Ram and Lakshman.

According to information received from sources, Lara Dutta is playing the character of Queen Kaikeyi. Lara was spotted wearing a purple saree and gold jewellery.
