Giving an example, the actress recalled that once her mother had decided to wear salwar kameez instead of saree despite criticism from others. Swati said, ‘I don’t think it would be right to use the word ‘sacrifice’ to describe my mother’s actions, because my father always made sure that she never had to give up her wishes. Instead, ‘dedication’ is the perfect word, he gives his all to the family regardless of the financial situation. ‘A mother’s sacrifice, especially for her children, is evident in her willingness to give priority to their needs over her own. Even when I went away for work, she still made time for me despite her busy schedule.
