Meenakshi Sheshadri arrived as a guest in ‘Superstar Singer 3’, told stories of her childhood, said – ‘I was 3 years old then…’

New Delhi: Veteran actress Meenakshi Sheshadri, recalling her childhood days, said that she got involved in music and dance at the age of three. Meenakshi Sheshadri, who started her film career with ‘Painter Babu’ in 1983, took training in four Indian classical dance forms ‘Bharatanatyam’, ‘Kuchipudi’, ‘Kathak’ and ‘Odissi’.

Actually, the episode ‘Meenakshi Sheshadri Special’ will be shown in the children’s singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer 3’. Meenakshi joined the show as a special guest and shared some stories from her career. In this episode, 9 year old Nishant Gupta, resident of Gurugram, Haryana, performed on the song ‘Bawre’ from the film ‘Luck by Chance’ with Captain Mohammad Danish.

She has been learning dance since the age of 3.
Talking about the performance, Meenakshi said, ‘It was a great performance for everyone. The excitement was clearly visible, we were all standing there and dancing to the beat, it was really tremendous. The 60-year-old actress further said, ‘Standing on this stage today, after seeing these small children, I have remembered my childhood. I started my journey in music and dance performance at the age of three and got to where I am today. May your future shine like stars, full of success and happiness.
