Talking about his character in this film and his preparation to play this character on screen, Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘I have grown up watching Bollywood films and the big stars of that era since childhood. All of them were my inspiration, be it Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Khanna ji, or Amitabh Bachchan. All this happened unconsciously, I just knew that I had to do some things to make the character of ‘Bhaiya Ji’ look attractive on screen so that everyone wants to be like ‘Bhaiya Ji’.
Manoj Bajpayee considered himself a hero after watching films.
The actor further says, ”Bhaiya ji’ is a source of inspiration. The audience should look at him as an inspiration, that’s why I have followed Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha. According to Manoj Bajpayee, whenever he used to watch films in his childhood, he used to feel like a hero. He further says, ‘Mainstream films have such an impact on the audience. Everyone starts considering themselves a hero while leaving the theatre.
Talking about working in desi films, Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘I am a desi hero. I want the story of our village, our soil to be depicted on screen.
