New Delhi. Gurucharan Singh, who became famous with ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, was missing since April 22. When the actor went missing, his family members had filed a police complaint. In such a situation, various kinds of things were being talked about in the media regarding his disappearance. However, he has returned safely. Explaining the reason for his disappearance, he told the police that he had gone on a ‘spiritual journey’. Hearing about Gurucharan’s return, his close friend TV producer Asit Modi tried to talk to him. He had called Gurucharan but his number was not dialed. Asit Modi himself has told about this.
Talking to Times Now, Asit Modi said that he is very happy about the return of his friend Gurucharan. Everyone’s prayers worked and he returned home safely. This brought relief to his family members who were quite worried over his disappearance.
Asit Modi is unable to talk to Gurucharan
Asit Modi further said- I heard the news of his return and I was happy that his family got their son back. But only he knows why he took such a step. We cannot understand him. I tried calling him several times but his phone is not reachable. Although I want him to call me because I want to talk to him.
Taarak Mehta remained a part of the show till 2020
Let us remind you that Gurucharan Singh has been a part of Amit Modi’s popular hit TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah till the year 2020. He has worked for this show for about 16 years. In such a situation, he became a good friend of Asit Modi. It was said that Gurucharan had left the show to take care of his ailing father and returned to his village. According to media reports, while taking care of his ailing father, he started struggling with financial crisis and depression.
