Case registered against Allu Arjun, MLA had come to meet friend in election state, thousands of fans gathered

New Delhi: On Saturday, May 11, police registered a case against actor Allu Arjun in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, for visiting his friend and YSRCP MLA Shilpa Ravi’s house, as thousands of people gathered on the road to get a glimpse of him.

MLA Shilpa Ravi is hoping to win again from Nandyal seat. The actor of the film ‘Pushpa’ did not inform the returning officer of the constituency before going to his house. Therefore a case has been registered against him. Voting is to be held simultaneously for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state on May 13. Allu Arjun had gone to the MLA’s house on the last day of the election campaign to show support for him.

Case registered under section 188
To get a glimpse of the superstar, a huge crowd of fans gathered on the road and were chanting ‘Pushpa, Pushpa’. The actor greeted people from the balcony along with his wife Sneha Reddy. On this occasion, Shilpa Ravi and her family were also present with the actor. A case has been registered against Allu Arjun under section 188 of IPC. It is noteworthy that in view of the elections, Section 144 is in force, in which gathering of crowd without permission is not allowed.
