It is being told that Fahadh Faasil has collected a fee of Rs 7 crore for the sequel, but he says that he does not work just for money.

During an interview with Film Campaigner, Fahadh Faasil was asked, it is discussed that you have become the highest paid villain of the country? In response to this the actor said, ‘Of course money is a factor, but it is not the only factor. There has to be something that excites me to go to work and it’s not just money. We are making a commercial cinema. I go there with that understanding and it is a pleasure to work with everyone there. I enjoy it. But I don’t know whether I am the highest paid villain of the country or not.

‘I don’t act just to earn money’
Fahadh Faasil believes that he does not act just to earn money. He said, ‘I have earned money from Kumbalangi Nights and Trance. I don’t want to earn money from acting. I don’t want to depend on him. I come from a family that has been making films for the last 40 years. I know how volatile this business is. I can manage financial instability, but I am worried about my instability. I have seen people changing. I want my films to perform well or poorly. I should remain as I am.
